Loney G. Richardson was born November 3, 1882 in the state of Tennessee and departed this life September 21, 1949 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Coats, of Buhl, Idaho, at the age of 67 years, 10 months, 12 days.
He moved to Springfield as a small boy, but has resided the majority of his life in Cabool.
In the year of 1912 he was united in marriage to Mable O. Stogsdill of Cabool, who preceded him in death together with an infant son in December 1929. To this union was born seven children, 3 of whom preceded him in death. The infant son, a daughter Fay died July 19, 1918, a son Fred died September 12, 1945.
Left to mourn his passing are four sons: Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Richardson and daughter; Mr. Earl Richardson; Mr. Raymond Richardson, all of Buhl, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Richardson and children of Cabool. Also two sisters of California and a brother William Richardson of Springfield, Mo., and quite a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at the First Baptist Church by Rev. George Howard. Rev. and Mrs. Howard furnished appropriate music. Burial by Elliott Funeral Home in the Cabool Cemetery.
