Funeral services for Margaret L. Butler, 90, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Butler went to be with the Lord at 6:10 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013.
She was born December 21, 1922, at Grinnell, Iowa, to John Samuel Marcum and Violet Wood Marcum. On June 14, 1965, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Frederick Ewing "Fred" Butler, who preceded her in death on February 20, 2005. Mrs. Butler was a Christian.
She is survived by four children, Darlene Graff, Delmar Borders, Jackie Hunt and Jerry Brazeal; three brothers, George Marcum, Alvan Marcum and Frank Marcum; three sisters, Dolores Mayfield, Rosie Heinzmann and Ruth Crites; thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one daughter, Barbara Jean Butler and three brothers, precede her in death.
Mrs. Butler will lie in state from 4:00 p.m., Thursday, until service time at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
