DEATH NOTICE: Pineville Democrat, Mar. 20, 1908 - William Nichols, a civil war veteran, aged 75 years, died very suddenly of heart failure Wednesday night. -- Williams Nichols who lived on R. F. D. No. 1, died March 4th with apoplexy and was brought to this place for burial Thursday.
