Graveside services for Betty Lee Dobbs, 82, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Howell Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dobbs died at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015, at her home.
She was born May 6, 1932, at West Plains, Missouri, to Preston Koelling and Minnie Vianna Lane Koelling. On December 24, 1955, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to George Bea Dobbs, who preceded her in death on January 15, 2011. Together they adopted a daughter, Dianna. Mrs. Dobbs was a homemaker; she loved to read and enjoyed farming with her husband for many years. She also enjoyed being outdoors, mowing the lawn and seeing the rewards of her labor. Betty was a Christian.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianna Rogers, husband, Mark, West Plains; three grandchildren, Tyler Phipps, Kaitlin Rogers and Kellsie Rogers; four great-grandchildren, Xavier Jewell, Josiah Phipps, Tyleigh Phipps and Maddison Hickman; one brother, Vick Koelling, wife, Dorothy, Webb City, Missouri; two sisters, Mildred McDaniel, Pittsburg, Kansas and Evelyn Bell, North Augusta, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband and three brothers, Doffice, Baxter and Art Koelling, precede her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Howell Valley Cemetery, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
