Funeral services for Albert "Junior" Galbraith, Jr., 52, are to be held Thursday (today) at 3:00 p.m. in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele. Rev. Billy Skinner is to officiate.
Mr. Galbraith, a resident of Steele, was born in Arkansas January 7, 1931 and died Wednesday, July 27, 1983 at Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. A Baptist, he was a retired farmer and welder. He had lived in Steele for the past five years.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Joyce (Kelley) Galbraith, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Dodd of Poplar Bluff; his mother, Mrs. Alma Galbraith of Steele; four brothers; Hubert Galbraith of Steele, Bob Galbraith of Poplar Bluff, Charles Galbraith of Denton, and David Galbraith of Blytheville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mitchell of Blytheville and Mrs. Betty Crawford of Denton; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was to have been held last night in the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele from 7:00-10:00. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville in charge of arrangements.
