Mr. Christopher Shaun Galbraith, 33, passed away July 8, 2013, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. The son of Lorie Galbraith and the late Edward Leon Henley, Jr., he was born April 24, 1980 in Hayti, Mo.

Christopher was a graduate of South Pemiscot School in Steele, Mo., and he loved fishing and playing baseball.

He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Galbraith, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Lorie Galbraith of New Madrid, Mo.; two children: Brayden Galbraith and Triston Mathis, both of Portageville, Mo.; one half brother, Edward Henley of Steele; his grandparents, Doris Hampson and her husband, Ronald, of Portageville; grandparents Leon and Betty Henley of Holland, Mo.; aunts and uncles, Charles D. Galbraith Jr. of Qulin, Mo., Mark Allen Galbraith of Wappapello, Mo., Jeffery Lynn Galbraith of Portageville; Kayla Michelle Perrydore of Blytheville, Ark., Renee Henley and Louanne Bates, both of Steele, Mo.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted July 10, 2013, at Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with the Rev. Mark Stockton officiating. Burial followed at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele.

Pallbearers were Edward Henley, Brent Galbraith, Raymond Howard Crawford, Jr., Hubert Howard Galbraith, Jr., Dennis Lynn Perrydore and Tobie Thorne.
