Services for Veola Moore were held August 22, 1985, at German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele. Rev. Charles Faughter officiated.
Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Will and Estelle Real Doughlas. She was born April 23, 1903, in Mississippi and died August 20, 1985, in Steele at 82 years.
She was married to John Moore who preceded her in death and was a member of the Holland Church of God.
She leaves two sons, Clarnece Moore of Benton Harbor, Mich. and William L. Moore of Eau Claire, Mich.; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. One son, one brother, one half-brother and five sisters preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were James Brown, Jeff Riley, Cecil Riley, Carroll Littrell, J.B. Barnard and Bud Davis.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Steele, with German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
