Clarence Aubrey Moore, 66, of Benton Harbor, Mich., formerly of Steele, died June 29, 1991 at Sarah-Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Ill. Born June 24, 1925 in Burdette, Ark., he was the son of John Blake and Veola Douglas Moore. He was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Audrey Smith of Palmetto, Fla.; one brother, William Moore, of Winter Haven, Fla.; three grandchilden, Parrish Hogue of Watervliet, Mich., Timothy Hogue of Palmetto and Andrew Smith of Parrish, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Aimee and Ryan Smith, both of Parrish; and his companion, Doris Watkins of Benton Harbor.
Services were July 3 at 10 a.m. at Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. Loyd Adams officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
