DoAnn J. Connell, 62, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, February 9, 1998 at her home.
Born Sunday, April 14, 1935 in Rock Falls, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Dale and Opal Knapp Alden.
DoAnn was united in marriage with Earl L. Connell on December 6, 1978 in Rock Falls.
A homemaker, she was a member of Voice of Zion Worship Center in Steele.
She was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Alden.
Mrs. Connell leaves her husband, Mr. Earl L. Connell, of Steele; a daughter, Cheryl Rodriguez, of Augusta, Ga.; two sons: Wesley Carl Day of Ontario, Canada and Robert V. Connell of Michigan; four brothers: Bob Alden of Bremerton, Wash., Mike Alden of Xenia, Ill., Joe Alden of Rock Falls and Bill Alden of Gibsonton, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Connell were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 1998 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele with Rev. Dorothy Abbott officiating.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery with Bradshaw Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were David Perry, Jerry Perry, Jason Perry, Richard Connell, Luke Connell and Luis A. Rodriguez-Torres.
