Jean Puckett, 62, of Steele, died Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
Born Dec. 6, 1937 in Steele, she was the daughter of Wilburn Clark and the late Nettie Clark.
She was employed at United Auto Parts in Steele and was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Puckett of Steele; Two sons, Jerry Harrison, Jr. of Denton, Texas, and Randy Harris and daughter-in-law Denise. Two daughters and son-in-laws, Pam and Therron Nowlin and Ginger and Kevin Hester of Steele; Two step-sons and stepdaughter-in-law, Kendall Puckett and Carrie, and Joey Puckett all of Steele; Four brothers, Harold Clark of Hayti, Alton Clark of Piedmont, Charles Clark of Kennett and David Clark of Steele; Two sisters, Brenda Lawrence of Steele and Elsie Rhodes of Tampa, Fla.; and Eleven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Clark.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele with Bro. John Mundy officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
