Funeral services for Wanda L. Green, 56, of Steele were held Saturday, July 9, 1983 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Steele. Rev. Jim Doyle officiated.
Mrs. Green was born August 9, 1926, in Manila, Ark., and died July 7, 1983, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis. She was owner and operator of Wanda's Beauty Salon in Blytheville and was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bollinger, she was united in marriage on April 24, 1951, to Hans E. Green in Piggott, Ark.
She leaves her husband, Hans Green of Steele;
One son, James Fleeman of Alvin, Tex.;
One daughter, Mrs. Pat Reynolds of Hitchcock, Tex.;
Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bollinger of Manila;
One sister, Mrs. Pat Bell of Manila;
Two brothers, Jimmy and Sammy Bollinger of Manila; and
Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Bill Ray, Joe Burton, Joe Saliba, Herbert Ketchum, Barry Ray, and Douglas (Doug) Graham.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
