Betty Ann Eldridge, 51, of Pensacola, Fla. died April 27, 2001 at the Pensacola Baptist Hospital.
She was born Sunday July 10, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Elvis Austin and Lectra Tomlin Austin. She was a controller and was a member of the Pentecostal Assembly of God.
Survivors include four sisters, Jean Morse of Steele, Gloria Bateman, Pat Austin, and Peggy Austin; and two brothers, Tommy Austin all of Avon Park, Fla. and Billy Austin of Lorida, Fla.
Services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Betty Ann Eldridge, 51, of Pensacola, Fla., died Friday, April 27, 2001 at the Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
Born Sunday, July 10, 1949 in Sardis, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Elvis Austin and Lectra Tomlin Austin. She was also preceded in death by one son, Roger Eldridge jr. and one brother, Bobby Joe Austin.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and worked for the United States Naval Hospital for many years in Blytheville Ark. and Pensacola.
Mrs. Eldridge leaves four sisters; Jean Morse of Steele, Mo., Gloria Bateman, Pat Austin and Peggy Ausin of Avon Park, Fla.; Two brothers: Tommy Austin of Avon Park and Billy Austin of Lorida, Fla.; and Thirteen nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ms. Eldridge were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele with Raymond Redden officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
