Jean Morse, 62, of Steele, died Saturday, June 18, 2005, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.
She was born May 9, 1943 in Sardis, Tenn. to the late Elvis Austin and Lectra Tomblin. Also preceding her in death were one brother, Bobby Joe Austin and one sister, Betty Eldridge.
Morse leaves her husband, Jessie Morse of Steele; two sons, Michael Morse and wife, Donna, of Steele and David Morse and wife, Jackie, of Caruthersville; one daughter, Michelle Turner of Steele; two brothers, Billy Austin and Tommy Austin; three sisters, Patricia Austin, Gloria Bateman and Peggy Austin all of Avon Park, Fla.; a very special aunt, Ruby Burrow, of Steele; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatvies and many friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 21, at the Bradshaw Powell Funeral Home of Steele with Rev. Jeremy Danesworth officiating. Burial took place in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
