Funeral services for Junior Tess Hunt, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Hunt passed away at 10:27 p.m., Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his home.
He was born June 5, 1936, at Moody, Missouri, to Tess and Ruth Helen Nicks Hunt. On January 6, 1956, he was married to Norma Jean Driskell, who preceded him in death on January 5, 1992 (one day before their 36th Wedding Anniversary). One son, Randy was born to their union. On March 13, 1993, he was married to Vonda Williams Coldiron. Junior told his family that being married to Vonda made him a better person and her a positive person. He was the owner/operator of Hunt's transmission for a number of years. Junior was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching Randy and his grandchildren play sports. Mr. Hunt was a member of the Moody Church of Christ.
His parents, 1st wife, one brother, Roger Dale Hunt and one sister, Aliene Gordon, preceded him in death.
Visitation services will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
