Graveside services for Ernest Charles (Charlie) Webb II, 48, Brandsville, MO, will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Webb died at 11 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2009, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 29, 1960, at Oxnard, CA, to Doyle Rudolph and Geneva Louise Riddle Webb. Charlie had a gift of caring and sharing. He gave so much to others and asked nothing in return. He had been a firefighter for Brndsville and Koshkonong for many years and was instrumental in bringing the Jaws of Life to Oregon County. Also, he was a first responder and had extensive fire training and was inducted into the Volunteer Hall of Fame in 1987. He was an obsessed hunter and fisherman, always willing to show his friends how to catch the big trout.
Charlie will be sadly missed by his family and friends and the people he helped. He was a rare person that never quit giving.
He is survived by two sisters, Brenda Webb, Brandsville, MO, and Connie Brown, husband, Bob, of Moody, MO; one brother, Doyle R. Webb Jr., wife, Elaine, of Salem, OR; special uncle, Ted Deming, wife, Rozanne, of Arlington, PA; several nieces and nephews; three special great-nieces, Leah, Miranda and Natalie, of Columbus, GA; and his very good friends, David Kirk, wife, Lisa and Chuck Simons, wife, Louise, of West Plains.
His parents, grandparents and one uncle precede him in death.
