John Fields
Services for John Fields, 20, Ozark, were held Oct. 3 in Harris Chapel with the Rev. Rayburn Horne officiating. Burial was in Selmore Cemetery south of Ozark.
Mr. Fields died Sept. 29 in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A 1983 graduate of Ozark High School, he worked with his father at Fields Roofing. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Marilyn Fields, of the home; three brothers, William, Russell, and Paul, all of the home; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Jewell Fields, Springfield; and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy McGee, Sanford, Mich.
