Obituary
IRENE JOHNSON SERVICES SET FOR WEDNESDAY

Irene R. Johnson, 78, of 316 N. Main, died at 3:45 Sunday afternoon in a Kirksville hospital. She had been in failing health several years.

Born in Adair county on July 17, 1894, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hurley. She was married to Henry T. Johnson who preceded her in death in 1949. Also preceding her in death was one brother.

Surviving are two sons, Everett Johnson of Moberly and Robert Johnson of 506 W. Missouri; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnson was a life-long resident of Adair county and was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church at Adair.

The body is at the Funeral Home of Davis and Davis where Rosary will be said Tuesday evening at 7:30.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at ten o'clock in the Mary Immaculate Church with the Rev. John Whitley, assistant pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in Forest cemetery.

Bearers will be William Gibbons, Dave Munn, Lee Cupp, J. Beall, Page Grim and Ben Keller.
