Mrs. Nora Viola Schrader died September 15 at Dunklin County Memorial Hospital in Kennett. Born February 28, 1906 at Ravenden Springs, Ark., she was 68.
She was the daughter of the late P.H. and Nora Holly.
She was united in marriage to Gene Schrader at Caruthersville, Mo., March 19, 1940.
Services were held Tuesday, September 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele, with the Rev. James F. McCrary officiating.
Burial was in Holly Cemetery in Steele, John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge.
Mrs. Schrader leaves her husband, Gene Schrader of Steele; Three daughters: Mrs. Earnestine Hood of St. Louis; Mrs. Imogene Heaton, Hollywood, Fla.; Mrs. Peggy Martin, Kennett, Mo.; A son, Lindy Thompson, Kileen, Texas; Two brothers, Walter and Robert Holly, Steele; A sister, Mrs. Helen Maclin, Steele; Ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Eugene Harry Shrader were held Sunday, July 25, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pentecostal Church of God in Steele with the Rev. Roy Handley and the Rev. Peter Soens officiating.

Mr. Shrader was born May 31, 1908, at Delta City, Mississippi and died July 22, 1976, at Dunklin County Memorial Hospital in Kennett at the age of 68.

Mr. Shrader was a truck driver and was employed by Utley Lumber Company prior to his retirement. He was the son of the late C.W. Shrader and Carrie Everett Shrader.

He was married to Viola Holly at Caruthersville March 19, 1940. She preceded him in death September 15, 1974.

Mr. Shrader leaves three step-daughters, Earnestine Hood of St. Louis; Imogene Heaton of Hollywood, Florida; and Peggy Martin of Kennett; one step-son, Lindy Thompson of Killeen, Texas; two sisters, Virgie German Adams of Steele and Velma Faught of Mountain Home, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and two nephews.

Interment was in Holly Cemetery with the John W. German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Buck Ballentine, Robert Holly, Johnny Jumper, Ralph Frame, Ben Higgins, and George Wiseman.
