Funeral services were held at the German Undertaking Chapel Sunday morning at 11 o'clock for Clarence W. Shrader, retired merchant of this city who died at his home Saturday a few hours after he had a stroke of
paralysis. The services were conducted by the Rev. H.S. Holly and the interment made in Holly Cemetery at Steele. Mr. Shrader was born in Sharkey County, Miss.,but moved to Memphis when a young man and was in the mercantile business there until he moved to Steele 15 years ago and was in business here until ill health forced him to retire.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Mae Shrader, one son, Eugene and two daughters, Mrs. Fred Faught of Huffman, Ark., and Miss Virgie Shrader of Steele.
