Services were held Friday afternoon at the Osburn Funeral Home chapel for John Franklin McMeans, 83, of Hayti, who died at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 28. The Rev. William Gossett officiated and burial was in Holly Cemetery.
Mr. McMeans was born in Pennsylvania on May 5, 1879.
Survivors include his wife, eight children and several grandchildren.
