Services for Louis A. Parker, 75, of Akins Corner, who died June 17th at the hospital in Hayti, were held June 19th at 2 p.m. at the Church of God in Holland with the Rev. Charles Faught officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He was born May 20th, 1902 in Alabama. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hallie Trammel Parker, two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Riley of Steele and Sarah Mae Vaughtn of Essex; two sons, Harold Parker of East Hickory, Pa., and Robert Parker of Roanoke Rapid, N.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. J.R. Reece of Pontotoc, Miss., and Mrs. Mae White of Benton, Ark.

Funeral services were held March 11, 1978 at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele for Mrs. Hallie Parker. The Rev. Charles Faught conducted the funeral services.

Mrs. Parker was born November 2, 1904 at Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and died March 8, 1978 at a Dexter, Mo. hospital.

She leaves two daughters: Mrs. Geneva Riley of Steele, and Mrs. Sarah Mae Vaughn of Essex, Mo.; two sons: Harold Parker of East Hickory, Pa., and Robert Parker of North Carolina. She also leaves two sisters: Mrs. Mary Duncan of Anna, Ill.; and Ada Chumley of Covington, Tenn.; two brothers: Henry Trammel and Alvin Trammel of Memphis; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Charles Clark, Larry Vaughn, Gerald Ganus, Sammie King, Carroll Littrell, and J.B. Barnard.

Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
