Danny Lynn Forbus, 44, of Steele, died April 11, 1992, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville. Born December 9, 1947 in Cooter, he was the son of James C. Forbus and Norma Jean Jones Ray.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Norma Jean Ray of Steele; his stepfather, James Alton Ray of Steele; a son, Lynn Forbus of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Kim Strickland, of Ft. Myers; two brothers, James Lee Forbus of Caruthersville and Ronnie D. Forbus of Steele; two half brothers, Jeff and Jimmy Forbus, both of St. Louis; a sister, Linda Jean Ray, of Steele; two half sisters, Carol Viellette and Cindy Forbus, both of St. Louis; and a grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Alton Ray.
Services were April 14 at 2 p.m. at Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. James McCrary officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers were George McLemore, Kerry Rayburn, Mike Loveless, Pat Bishop, Jr., Dwight Davis and Jacky Marby.
