Services were held Saturday, January 7, 1978, at 2:00 p.m. in the John W. German Funeral Home for Marvin Donald Fullerton, 59, of Arcola, Miss. Rev. James F. McCrary officiated at the service.
Mr. Fullerton moved to Arcola from Steele in 1965 and was engaged in farming until his death January 5 in Greenville, Miss. He was a veteran of World War II, and the son of the late William Neal Fullerton and Ollie Newman Fullerton of this area.
He was united in marriage to Sue Brockway in Steele on December 11, 1964. He leaves the following:
His wife, Sue Fullerton of Arcola, Miss.; six daughters, Mrs. Dixie Thompson of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Landa Joe Blankenship of Riverside, Ca., Mrs. Ann Kimble of Greenville, Miss., and Miss Jerrita Sue, Anna, and Brandy Fullerton all of Arcola, Miss.; four sons, Rodney Fullerton of Florida, Sammy Fullerton of Illinois, Marvin Dennis Fullerton of Greenville, Miss. and Kevin Fullerton of Caruthersville; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Hurley of Bernie, Mo., Mrs. Irene Ray of Caruthersville, Mo., and Mrs. Rubye Hillhouse of Steele; five brothers, Ben Fullerton of Memphis, Tn., Neal Fullerton of Caruthersville, Mo. and Paul, Andrew "Dee" and Richard Fullerton of Steele; and three grandchildren.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Barry Ray, Gene Wingfield, Roy Fullerton, Bill Ray, Herbert Ketchum, and Carrol Lorren.
