Mr. Cleveland Edwards, was born August 7, 1922 at Holland, Missouri and died September 19, 1986 at the Pemiscot County Medical Center in Hayti, Missouri. He was 64.
Mr. Edwards had lived a portion of his life in Michigan but after his retirement he moved back to Holland.
He was the son of the late Bill Edwards and Mary Northern Edwards.
In 1943 at Caruthersville, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Beulah Waddle, who preceded him in death.
He leaves two sons: Cleveland Charles Edwards of Fayetteville, N.C. and Bill G. Edwards of Three Rivers, Michigan; a daughter, Mrs. Marideth F. Greathouse of Benton Harbor, Michigan; Four sisters: Mrs. Mary Buys of Steele, Missouri, Mrs. Lavada Norrid of Hayti, Mrs. Patricia Stevers of Lisbon, Iowa and Mrs. Laverne Hall of San Lorenzo, California; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held September 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele, with Rev. Charles Faught officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
