Funeral services were held Saturday, December 8, 1979 for Mrs. Vivian Lucille Martin, at the German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele. Rev. Wayne McLean officiated and the organist was Mrs. Bethel Frame.
Mrs. Martin was born July 6, 1923 in Pemiscot County, and died December 6, 1979 at the age of 56.
She leaves her husband, Ellis Martin, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Kate Prince, of Bernie, Mo.; one brother, John Hurley of Steele.
Pallbearers were John Cunningham, Bert Henry, J.W. Cunningham, Charles Hoskins, Howard Henry and G.C. Grimes.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
