Services were held Sunday at the Steele Methodist Church for Mrs. Fern Alice Storey of East Point, Ga.
Born in Steele on October 6, 1928, she died in Atlanta, Ga., after an illness of about a year.
Mrs. Storey was the daughter of Mrs. Janie Wood and the late Hobart Marshall.
She was united in marriage to Walter Storey, Jr., in Steele, Mo., July 3, 1949.
Mrs. Storey was a member of the Steele Church of Christ.
She leaves her husband, Walter Storey, Jr. of East Point, Ga.; one son, Stephen; three daughters, Delores, Susan, and Kathy -- all of East Point, Ga.; her mother, Mrs. Janie Wood of Steele; two brothers, J.D. Marshall and Frank Marshall of Steele; one sister, Mrs. Gary Bruton of Braggadocio, and her grandmother, Mrs. Viola Marshall of Memphis.
Mr. Cleo Blue of the Steele Church of Christ conducted the services.
Bural was at Mt. Zion Cemetery with John W. German Mt. Zion Chapel in charge of arrangements.
Pall bearers were Eugene Kellems, Jack Brooks, Johnnie Carter, Billie Williams, Herbert Lee Perrydore, and Ralph Wafler.
