MRS. EDWARD WITTMER, 66, DIES IN QUINCY
Former Kirksville Resident; Services To Be Held Here
Mrs. Edward C. (Jennie Belle Jackson) Wittmer, 66, of Lewistown died in a Quincy, Ill., hospital Sunday afternoon at 4:15. She had been ill only two days.
Born March 14, 1893 in Independence, Kan., she was married on August 3, 1915 to Edward C. Wittmer in Macomb, Ill. Mr. Wittmer was a former resident of Kirksville and a mail carrier on the Kirksville city route, leaving here in 1907. He made his home for many years in Quincy. They moved to Lewistown in 1936 where they had made their home since.
Surviving are her husband and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Funeral Chapel of Davis & Davis with the Rev. Edward F. Coffman officiating. Burial will be in Llewellyn cemetery.
