OBITUARY - HANNIBAL COURIER-POST, November 12, 1999

HANNIBAL Adah Jean Hulse Albright, 83, of New London, died at 6 a.m. Nov. 11, 1999, at the home of her sisters in New London.

Funeral services for Mrs. Albright will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tom Day will officiate. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Frankford.

She was born May 19, 1916, in Center, to Earl D. and Gorden Nadine Fields Hulse.

She was married to Herbert E. Albright Oct. 18, 1947 in New London. He preceded her ind eath June 10, 1989. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Lou Hulse and Marjorie Ione Hulse, both of New London.

Mrs. Albright taught in Des Moines, Iowa high schools for many years. She received her master's degree in guidance and counseling from Drake University in Des Moines.

She was a graduate of New London High School.

She was a member of the New London First Christian Church, the Hannibal Woman's Club and a member of the New London Chapter of The Daughters of American Revolution. She had served as regent of the organization.

After their retirement, she and her husband returned to New London from Des Moines to make their home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.


Pallbearers will be Bill Unsell, Ray Gibbs, Bob Jackson, James Lemon, Bob Burnett and Ron Hulse. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Hulse, Herb Parham and Joe Serbin.
