RITES FRIDAY HERE FOR MRS. LAURA HASKINS

Member of Parcels Family Died In St. Louis.

Mrs. Laura Ann Parcels Haskins, who died Sunday in St. Louis as the result of a broken hip suffered in a fall a few weeks ago, is to be buried here Friday.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Davis Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. P.M. Lind, of Queen City. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery beside her first husband, who died 53 years ago.

Mrs. Haskins was a member of a prominent Kirksville family and made her home here until about thirty years ago.

Laura Ann Parcells was born at Kirksville, Mo., Aug. 9, 1857, a daughter of Edwin W. and Rebecca Ann Rowland Parcels. She was married to John M. Casebolt Dec. 25, 1878 and to them were born three children, Effie (Mrs. J.F. Davis, of St. Louis, Mo.) James Durbin Casebolt, of Springfield, Mo., and John M. Casebolt of Hettinger, N.D.

Mr. Casebolt died Dec. 13, 1884 and she married Gaunt Crebs. One daughter, Mrs. W.J. Martin (Eleanor), of Memphis, Tenn., was born to Mr. and Mrs. Crebs.

Mrs. Crebs later married Rhoades Lowe and after his death married J.F. Haskins, who is now deceased.

Surviving her are the two daughters and two sons, three sisters, Mrs. Emma C. Wilson, of LaGrande, Oregon, Mrs. J.B. Conley, of Elmer, Mo., and Mrs. Effie Cook Burton, of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Edwin W. Parcels, Jr., of St. Louis, and George R. Parcels, of South Gifford, Mo., four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. F.G. and Chester Parcells of Kirksville are nephews.
