HARMON FIGGE OF KIRKSVILLE DIES AGED 83
Services and Burial Will Be Held Sunday at 1 p.m.
Harmon (Hiram) Figge 83, 404 W. Elizabeth, died Thursday evening in a Kirksville hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at one o'clock in the Dee Riley Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Forest Cemetery.
Mr. Figge was the son of Harmon and Ellen Figge and was born in Schuyler county on July 21, 1873.
He was married to Ida Varner on Dec. 20, 1894, at Downing, Mo., and to this marriage four children were born.
He is survived by two sons, Roy Figge, Kirksville, Herschel Figge, Gary, Inda.; a brother, John Figge, Kirksville; a sister, Mrs. Ella Elschlager, Queen City, Mo.; two grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.
Mr. Figge was preceded in death by his wife, two sons; two brothers; and two sisters.
Mr. Figge was in the transfer business in Kirksville for many years.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Bearers will be Claude Burch, Clyde McDowell, Carl brown, Plenn Perry, Deon Perry and Clifford Dabney.
