MRS. SARAH IVIE DIES TODAY AT THE AGE OF 64

Mrs. Sarah Boughen Ivie, aged 64 years, died this morning at 9 a. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Barton, near the northwest city limits. She was born January 14, 1857, in Highland City, Alabama, and was married in 1874 to Henry Boughen.

After the death of her husband, Mrs. Boughen was a widow for eight years. She then married Mr. Ivie, who died three years later. His death occurred about ten years ago.

Mrs. Ivie is survived by one son, Robert J. Boughen, of Colorado Springs, Colo., three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Young, of San Francisco, Cal., Mrs. Taylor McDowell and Mrs. Ed Barton, both of Kirksville, two brothers, Dr. W. J. Smith, of Ironton, Mo., and George Smith, of Ellington.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Davis & Wilson chapel, conducted by the Rev. H. McNamee., of the Methodist Episcopal church. Interment will take place in the Forest cemetery.
