Nellie married Benjamin F. Gilmer on May 7, 1899.

GILMER--Nellie Morrow was born near Bullion, in this county, on the 21st of December, 1876. She lived in the community until her marriage to Dr. Gilmer, May 7, 1899, going then to Alamoosa [sic] Colorado. She remained there until a few months ago, when the state of health demanded her return. She rallied with the change of climate, and it was hoped that she would recover, but an attack of fever shortly after the birth of her baby was too much for her failing strength, and she passed away on the 5th of August. A large number of relatives gathered at the funeral service on Monday, which was conducted by Rev. W.L. Darby, after which the body was interred in Forest cemetery. She made profession of faith in Christ when she was 17 years old, and soon thereafter united with the Methodist church, of which she remained a member until her death, although other members of the family now belong to the C.P. church, which she would no doubt have joined had her health permitted. To the friends who so kindly ministered to every want during her illness their gratitude is expressed. Her death was peculiarly sad, and the family have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.
