James R. Douglass
Again our community has been shocked by the sudden visitation of the Angel of Death. Last Tuesday James R Douglass, one of our most highly esteemed citizens was in best of spirit's, was over in town with his friends at the usual places, even after supper talking and enjoying the company of friends and loved ones. Toward midnight was taken with acute indigestion and after suffering intensely for almost an hour, passed away from the earth. Mr. Douglass was in the 56th year of his age. He leaves a wife, one adopted son. an aged mother, two brothers, three sisters and other relatives and many friends to mourn the untimely severing of the earthly ties.
