Calvin L. Jennings Jr., age 38, of St. Louis passed away May 14, 2014 in Texas.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. ,Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with brother Tom Cooper officiating. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery with Military Honors by VFW Post 5553 and Missouri Military Honors. Visitation will be10:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014 at the funeral home.

Calvin was born November 22, 1975 in Ft. Riley, Kansas the son of Calvin Laverne Sr. and Brenda Lee Smith Jennings. He married Tonya Tatro June 23, 2002 in Springfield. She preceded him in death on November 11, 2005.

Survivors include his parents; fiancée Deandria Kavadas of Valley Park; two brothers Randy Jennings (Amanda) of Lake St. Louis and Jason Jennings (Jennifer) of Hillview, IL; sister Deanna Louise Jennings of Springfield; three nieces; five nephews, many Aunts, Uncles and cousins, and special Uncle Charles.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Louise Rende; grandfather Forest Smith,; step-grandfather Anthony Rende; Grandparents Lafe and Velma Jennings; and Uncle Mike Smith.

Calvin grew up in Missouri and lived in several different areas of the state. He grew up attending Baptist Churches but lately attended the Pentecostal Faith Church. Calvin served eight years in the U.S. Army National Guard and worked as a truck driver for seventeen years. His hobbies included Hot Rod cars, X-Box, Video games, and he loved MoPar. Above all he loved spending time with cousins and family.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Jennings, Jason Jennings, Travis Jennings, Chris LaBrash, Tony Rende, and Mark Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be T.J. Rende, Rachel Paolillo, and Alicia Bryan.
