Nancy May Grisham, 80, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at 11:45 am Monday, December 15, 2014 at Willow Care Center in Hannibal, MO.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 19, 2014 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Larry Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in Hannibal, MO.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Grisham was born August 14, 1934, in Rock Island, Illinois to Ervin Charles and Odetta Evelyn Ohavor Rhoades.
She was married to James Thomas Grisham in 1955. He preceded her in death June 4, 1977.
Survivors include 2 children, Nancy Maddox (Walter) of Hannibal, MO, James Samuel Grisham (Barb) of Hannibal, MO, 2 Brothers, Ervin Rhoades and Arthur Rhoades, both of Iowa, 2 Sisters; Donna Rhoades and Mary Wentzel, both of Iowa, 9 Grandchildren, Jennifer Foster (Keith), Walter James Maddox(Amanda), Robert Shepherd, Jessica Stewart (Sylvester), Amy Shepherd, Andrea Reeves, James T. Grisham, Devin Grisham and Heather Wells and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two daughters; Dorothy Ann Shepherd and Carol Jean Grisham and one grandson; Derek Dean Nelson.
Mrs. Grisham was a homemaker and previously worked as a certified nurse's assistant at Shady Lawn Rest Home. She liked playing games and especially loved playing Bingo and cards. Nancy also enjoyed baking, singing and dancing. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids. Mrs. Grisham was a Christian by faith.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hannibal Nutrition Center in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be James S. Grisham, Walter Maddox, James T. Grisham, Devin Grisham, Zach Foster, and Michael Foster.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Shepherd, Robert Grisham, Cecil Stone and the Staff and Residents at Willow Care Center.
