DIED.
CLARK—At his home in Kirksville, Dec. 10, 1900, Mr. V.B. Clark. He was born in Tully Onondago county, New York, Feb. 13, 1835, making him at the time of his death 65 years, 9 months, 27 days of age. When a boy he went with his parents to Ohio, and later he went from there to Rushville, Ill. Came to Adair county, Mo., in 1871, and move to Kirksville two weeks ago. He enlisted in the federal army in 1862 and was mustered out at the close of the war. He was married to Miss Elizabeth Hopper in 1872. He leaves to mourn for him three sons, a wife and many friends. He joined the Christian church in 1889, his wife just a month before. Funeral was preached by H.A. Northcutt.
