Jewel Doshie Faulkner, 61, of Vernon, Ill., died of cancer Saturday, October 15, 1994, at her home.
Born August 18, 1933 at Linden, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Robert Marrs and the late Tommie (Faulkner) Marrs.
Affiliated with the Canaan Land Pentecostal Church in Vernon, Mrs. Faulkner was a homemaker.
On April 3, 1948 she was united in marriage with Raymond Faulkner.
Mrs. Faulkner leaves her husband, Mr. Raymond Faulkner of Vernon; One son, Mr. Dennis Ray Faulkner, of Homestead, Fla.; Two daughters: Mrs. Patsy Cork of South Fulton, Tenn. and Ms. Karen Wright Faulkner of Desoto, Ill.; Five brothers: Mr. Bobby Marrs of Momence, Ill., Mr. Bill Marrs of North Chicago, Ill., Mr. L.G. Marrs of Lovelville, Tenn., Mr. Garry Marrs of Jasper, Ala., and Mr. Johnny Marrs of Norman, Okla.; Two sisters: Mrs. Betty Rickman of Las Vegas, Nev. and Mrs. Alberta Moyer of Benson, Ariz.; and Five grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Faulkner were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 1994, at Bradshaw's German-Aumon Chapel in Steele, Mo., with Rev. James Woods, Reb. Garvin Alfter, Rev. Dan Boyd, and Rev. O.J. Nash officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw's German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Bill Marrs, Bob Marrs, Garry Marrs, Bll Faulkner, Shearl Faulkner and Vernon Faulkner.
