Steele, Mo. - Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Miss Cordia Bradford, 72, who died Friday, at the home of her nephew, Arch Jordan, with whom she had resided for the past seven years. The services were held at the home of Rev. J.W. Cunningham, pastor of the Baptist church of Steele and interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Aunt Cordia, as she was familiarly known, lived at Cooter with her sister, who was Arch Jordan's mother, until her death about ten years ago. She was well known throughout the south end of the county.
Survivors are two brothers, Tom Bradford of Memphis and John Bradford of Pittsburg, Texas, also seven nieces and nephews with whom she had lived, including Arch and A.W. Jordan, Steele, Lonie Jordan, Cooter, Frank Jordan and Mrs. Bessie Thompson of Memphis and Mrs. Earl Hudgens of Little Rock. [Democrat Argus, Caruthersville, Missouri, Feb 7, 1941]
