Alma Wilford Grissom of Blytheville died February 16 at the Chickasawba Hospital.
The widow of Charles H. Grissom who preceded her in death in 1929, she was born February 17, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wallace Wilford, pioneer settlers of Steele.
Services were conducted by the Rev. A.A. Noggle and the Rev. James McCrary at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 18, at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Steele.
She leaves her daughter, Martha Blazek of Blytheville; a granddaughter, Lanette O'Brien and great-granddaughter Tracy Erin O'Brien of Memphis; and a niece, Ariene Bailey of Steele.
Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Delbert DePriest, George K. Reeves, Pinnell Capehart, Pete Thompson, Joe McClure and Clarence Poteet.
