Funeral services for Amy B. Gordon, 90, formerly of 305 East Hickory will be held at 10:30 Tuesday morning, (July 22, 1986) in the chapel of Davis-Playle Funeral Home. Dr. Rev. David Webster, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Maple Hills Cemetery.

Mrs. Gordon died at 7:30 Friday evening (July 18, 1986) in Twin Pines Adult Care Center, Kriksville where she had been a resident since May 30, 1986.

Born July 16, 1896 in Adair County, she was the daughter of Thomas M. and Stella Vena Friend Musick. On June 24, 1917 in Adair County, she was married to Forrest Homer Gordon who preceded her in death on August 18, 1961. Also preceding her in death was one sister.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Edson (Joyce) Perry of Stillwater, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Candace Stuart, Dr. Dennis Stuart and Lisa Perry and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gordon was reared in in Adair County Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon moved to a farm north of Brashear. In 1951, they moved to Kirksville.

Mrs. Gordon was a member of the Brashear United Methodist church.
