GEO. H. MILLER DIES TODAY AT THE AGE OF 49
Gas Company Employe 14 years Succumbs After 2-Year Illness
George H. Miller, 49 years old, died at his home, 616 East Cottonwood street, this morning at 2:30 following an illness of two years.
Mr. Miller had been an employe of the gas company here for 14 years but was unable to work the last year. He had been seriously ill for a month.
Funeral services will be held at the Dee Riley Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30.
He was born July 1, 1882, a son of Frank and Sarah Jane Miller. His mother, now Mrs. Sarah McFarland, of Quincy, Ill., and his wife survive, in addition to three children and a step-son. The children are: Mrs John Evans, Quincy; Miss Helen Miller, St. Louis; Frank B. Miller, Kirksville. The step-son is John Dabney, Kirksville.
The Millers moved here from Quincy several years ago. Mr. Miller was a member of the Baptist church and belonged to the Moose order at Quincy.

G.H. Miller Rites Today
Funeral services for George H. Miller, 49, who died at his home here yesterday morning, were held this afternoon at the Dee Riley Funeral Home and burial was made in Maple Hill cemetery.
His physician attributed death to influenza and glandular infection. It was stated today that Mr. Miller had been ill only a short time, instead of the two years as reported yesterday.
