June 16, 1910 - Aug 3, 1964
George William Crim, 54, of Route 1, Brashear, died at 10:15 this morning in a Kirksville hospital. He had been in failing health for several months.
The son of James R. and Ida (Mattick) Crim, he was born four miles northeast of Edina on June 16, 1910. He married Juanita Cline on Dec. 26, 1931 in Edina.
Surviving are his parents of Edina; his wife; one son, Larry Crim of Greentop; two daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Evelyn) Wellborn of Macon and Charlene Crim of the home; three brothers, Frank Crim of Edina, Page Crim of Kirksville and Johnnie Crim of Lemon Grove, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. John (Gladys) Sheets of Corvallis, Mont., Mrs. Charles (Cleta) Mauck of Sarasota, Fla., and Mrs. Virgil (Lucy) Lora of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one granddauhgter [sic] and one aunt, Ida Crim Salisbury of 1303 S. Baltimore.
He was preceded in death by three infant children.
Mr. Crim was a member of the Sabbath Home Methodist church. He was also a member of the Paulville Lodge No. 319, AF & AM of Hurdland. He moved from Edina to his present farm in 1940.
The body is at the Funeral Home of Davis & Davis. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

George W. Crim Funeral Thursday
Funeral services for George W. Crim will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 in the Funeral Chapel of Davis & Davis. Rev. Allen Vancil of Edina will officiate, and burial will be in Maple Hills cemetery.
Bearers will be: Vernon Gregory, Lyle Erwin, Joe Paul, Max Arnold, Fred Allen, Fred Barker.
Masonic rites will be held tonight at 7:30 in the funeral chapel by the Paulville Lodge No. 319, AF & AM of Hurdland.
