1916 - 1967
Juanita Grace Crim, 51, of Route 1, Brashear died at 8:30 Wednesday evening in a Kirksville hospital where she had been a patient since June 12. She had been in failing health the past four months.
The daughter of Charles H. and Mary E. (Avise) Cline, she was born June 8, 1916 at Kirksville. On Dec. 26, 1932, in Knox County, she was married to George Crim who preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 1964. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and three children in infancy.
Surviving are one son, Larry Crim of Greentop; two daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Evelyn) Wellborn of Macon and Charlene Ann Crim of the home; two brothers, Charles H. Cline of Albuquerque, N.M., and Sherman Cline of the United States Navy; one sister, Mrs. Russell (Ethel) Jones of Burnside, Ill; two grandchildren, Debbie Wellborn and Brandon Crim, and several aunts and uncles.
Mr. and Mrs. Crim resided on a farm in the Sabbath Home neighborhood where they were in the dairy farming business until his death.
Mrs. Crim was a member of the Sabbath Home Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star No. 184 of Kirksville. She also served as Community leader of Normal Mound 4-H.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock in the Funeral Chapel of Davis & Davis with the Rev. Charles Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hills cemetery.
Bearers will be: Gene Taylor, Fred Barker, Joe Paul, Lyle Erwin, Clifford Evans and Leon Bowers.
Honorary bearers will be Sidney Rowe and Dale Cody.
