HOZEA H. HULL, 72, ONE-TIME RESIDENT, DIES
Had Been Living in Kansas City Since 1947; Rites Sunday
Hozea H. Hull, 72, one-time Kirksville resident, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lovada E. Merritt, in Kansas City.
A son of Wakeman S. and Nancy Hobbs Hull, he was born June 28, 1880, west of Baring. He was married to Bertha Mae Little on March 30, 1904. They were the parents of one child, who died in infancy.
Mr. Hull was a carpenter and for a number of years lived in Kirksville but in 1933 he purchased a farm near Gibbs where they lived until the death of his wife July 2, 1945. He sold his farm and in 1947 moved to Kansas City where he has since resided.
Two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
Surviving are three brothers, Orvell Hull, of Arzenville, Ill.; William Hull, of Kirksville, and Wakeman Hull, of Hurdland; two sisters, Mrs. Merritt and Mrs. Orpha Bogue, of Benton, Ark., and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Christian Church in Baring and also a member of Adair Lodge No. 366, A.F. & A.M., of Kirksville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the Easley Funeral Home in Hurdland. The body will remain at the funeral home. Rev. Archie Cooper will conduct the service, and Adair Lodge No. 366 will conduct graveside rites. Burial will be in the Maple Hills cemetery in Kirksville. Nephews of Mr. Hull will be bearers.
