Mrs. Ella Mae Fellers, 57, wife of George H. Fellers, Kirksville merchant, died at 9 o'clock last night at the Mayo Brothers Clinic in Rochester, Minn., after undergoing an operation for cancer.

The body is being brought to Kirksville today and funeral services will be held at the Summers & Son Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be made in the Maple Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Fellers was born Feb. 26, 1876, north of Brashear, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Job Rainier. Subsequently the family moved to Brashear and she was married to Mr. Fellers on July 5, 1900. They lived in Brashear a number of years, Mr. Fellers being proprietor of a drug store there, but moved to Kirksville about 18 years ago where he has since conducted a paint store.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Walter Beard and Mrs. Kenneth Shipman, her mother, Mrs. Betty Rainier, and four grandchildren, all of Kirksville; and a brother, George Rainier, of Hurdland.

She was a member of the Christian church, the B. B. O. E. club and was secretary-treasurer of the Ladies Aid Society of the Christian church.

Mr. Fellers and Mr. and Mrs Beard were with Mrs. Fellers in Rochester.
