1945 - 1990
Eloise Mary Brochu, 44, of 603 South Sixth Street, Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Saturday (January 6, 1990) in her home. Death was unexpected and attributed to natural causes.
The daughter of Charles Raymond and Eloise Mary Cecelia (Marx) Shoults, she was born October 4, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia. On June 12, 1969 in Lancaster, Missouri, she was married to Robert Henry Brochu, who survives.
Also surviving are her father of Purdy, Missouri; her mother of New Florence, Missouri; two sons, Robert Henry Brochu, Jr., of the state of Virginia and Raymond Joseph Brochu of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Brandon (Mary) Roberts of Storm Lake, Iowa; nine brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Mrs Brochu was a graduate of the Fairfax, Virginia, High School. Mr and Mrs Brochu moved to Kirksville eight years ago, following his retirement from the United States Air Force. Mrs. Brochu spent her married life as a housewife. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church, Kirksville.
The body has been cremated. Memorial services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon (January 10, 1990) in the chapel of the Fohn Funeral Home. Captain Ron Hobbie will conduct the services. Music will be provided by Dianthe Cable, organist, and Melodie Sevits, soloist. The selection will be "Amazing Grace."
