Mary "Lucille" Dabney, 98 of Kirksville, MO passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Francis M. and Mary Rebecca Norfolk; Lucille was born on December 1, 1914 in Adair County, MO. On June 1, 1941 in Kirksville, MO she was united in marriage to Robert Keith Dabney, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her parents; brothers, Ray, Glenn, Kenneth and Ed Norfolk; sister, Betty Lawson; several nieces and nephews.
Lucille is survived by her daughters, Roberta Licciardone and husband Dr. John of Fort Worth, TX and Patricia Mealer and husband George of Stockton, CA; grandsons, George Mealer, Jr. of San Jose, CA, Douglas England and Anthony Licciardone both of Fort Worth, TX.
Lucille was reared in and lived all her life in Kirksville, MO. She graduated with the class of 1933 from the Kirksville High School. She was active in the WPFA. She was always interested in her garden, sewing and being the family historian.
Funeral and graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville. Burial will follow the service at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until time of service Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, 2100 E. Shepherd Avenue, (Highway 6 East), Kirksville, MO.
