Funeral services for Daniel "Paul" Harrison, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2013, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Harrison died at 2:37 a.m., Monday, March 25, 2013, at NHC Healthcare.
He was born June 26, 1923, at Thomasville, Missouri, to Joseph Adison Harrison and Delia Mae Gann Harrison. On October 3, 1942, he was married at Thomasville, Missouri, to Helen Tackitt, who preceded him in death on June 14, 2012. Before his retirement, he was a pull over machine operator at International Shoe Factory. He enjoyed his farm, gardening and his tractor. Mr. Harrison was a member of the Church of Christ and attended Curry Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by one daughter, Joann Eagleman, husband, Ronnie, West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren, Vicki Oberdorf, husband, Eric, West Plains, Missouri, Michael Hicks, Nevada, Missouri and Kevin Hicks, wife, Erin, West Plains, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Felicia, Andrea', Shelby and Brady; one great-great-grandchild, Marcus; and one son-in-law, Duaine Hicks, wife, Mary, Pomona, Missouri.
His parents, wife, daughter, Beverly Hicks, one brother and one sister, precede him in death.
Mr. Harrison will lie in state from 4:00 p.m., Thursday until service time at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Curry Street Church of Christ, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Helen was born in Thomasville, Mo. to Perry "P.A." and Mary Francis Tackitt Clark. She was married on October 3, 1942 at Thomasville, Mo. to Paul Harrison. Helen was the mother of Beverly Hicks and Joann Eagleman, she was a member of the Curry Street Church Christ.
Funeral services were held on June 16. 2012, in the Rose Chapel of Robertson Drago Funeral Home. [ozarkareanetwork.com, Jun 2012]
