Funeral services for James Harold Clegg, 90, West Plains, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Central Church of Christ, West Plains, under direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Clegg died 4:28 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010 at his home. He was born February 20, 1920 at Industrial, West Virginia to Robert Sylvester and Charlotte Evelyn Mulvaney Clegg. On May 24, 1941, he was married at Flat Rock, Michigan to Reynolda Strawn. Mr. Clegg was a veteran having served with the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ of West Plains, having been among one of the first Elders of the Church. Also, Mr. Clegg had been a Deacon of the Imperial High Church of Christ, Downey, California. He is survived by his wife, Reynolda Clegg, of the family home; three children, Timothy David Clegg, wife, Rita, Seymour, Missouri, Daniel Lee Clegg, wife, Ninett, Anaheim, California and Marcia Ann Moyer, husband, Joe, West Plains; honorary sons, Nelson Manoli, wife, Jennifer, Huntsville, Texas and Denny Lounsberry, wife, Sharon, LaBrea, California; seven grandchildren, Timothy David Clegg, II, Heather Cooper, Chelsea Stanley, Christopher Clegg, Matthew McCormack-Moyer, Deborah Melvin and Daniel Lee Clegg, II; step granddaughter, Carol Skinner; seven great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Bradley, T. J., Rita Jo, Sophia, Rebecca and Dominique; step great-grandchildren, Cleone and Cydney; one brother, William "Bill" Clegg, wife, Arlene, Deland, Florida; one sister, Patricia Cooper, husband, William, Lafayette, Tennessee; one brother-in-law, L. B. Strawn, wife, Mary, Cerritos, California; one sister-in-law, Martha Scott, husband, Francis, West Plains; and many nieces and nephews. His parents, three brothers, Robert Clegg, John Clegg and Richard Clegg and two sisters, Elsie Martin and Myrtle Bouley, precede him in death. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Veterans Section, Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Church of Christ, India Evangelism or Crowley's Ridge College and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
