Graveside services for William Roy Robinson, 90, West Plains, were Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in the Veterans Section of Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Robinson died at 5:15 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010, at his home. He was born June 23, 1919, at Smithville, IL, to William Loyd and Fern Walters Robinson. On Sept. 29, 1957, Mr. Robinson was married at Lincoln, IL, to Norma Bordwine. He was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Before his retirement, Mr. Robinson was employed at Caterpiller. He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Robinson, of the family home; four children, William Roger Robinson, wife, Patricia, Havana, IL, Dean Robinson, wife, Sharon, Marquette Heights, IL, Loyd Robinson, wife, Betty, West Plains, and Delbert Robinson, wife, Clara, West Plains; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Enid Johnson, Wilmington, Deleware; one sister-in-law, Irene Robinson, Canton, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents; one daughter, Joyce Ann Robinson; and two brothers precede him in death. (Howell County News, March 10, 2010)

Graveside services for Norma Lu Robinson, 75, West Plains, Mo., were Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robinson died at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at her home.
She was born May 3, 1937, in Buckheart Township, Fulton County, Ill., to Grover and lula Lillie Bordwine. On Sept. 29, 1957, she was married at Lincoln, Ill., to William Roy Robinson, who preceded her in death on March 6, 2010. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Bryant Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Robinson, wife, Betty, and Delbert Robinson, wife, Clara, all of West Plains, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Enid Johnson, Wilmington, Del.; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents; husband; one daughter, Joyce Ann Robinson, four brothers and five sisters, precede her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. On line condolences may be expressed at robertsondrago.com.
